Garo to have three live-action movies, a new anime season & film, and stage musical

Kinrō Kanshasai 2015 event released news about the
future projects in line with the Garo franchise on Sunday with three
live-action movies and a television series, another season for the anime and a
movie plus a musical.
Garo is a dark-themed anime about humans that work as “Makai
Knights”. They are the ones who fight against human-devouring demons they call “Horrors”.
The first season of the television series in 2005 revolved around Kōga Saejima,
a Makai Knight who tried to save Kaoru from her deadly fate after being tainted
by demon blood.
The Garo -Gold Storm- Shō with Ryūga Dōgai as the main character will be debuting as a theatre film the following year, March 28th, with a television series on spring. Ryūga was also the lead in the television series Garo: Yami o Terasu Mono the previous year. Wataru Kuriyama will be starring in one of the franchise’s live-action movies with Keita Amemiya, the franchise creator, writing and directing the movie.
Garo -Makai no Hana- ,
2014 television series, will have a sequel movie entitled Bikū -
Yamagirinochi- to be released on October 2015, that revolves around Bikū.
Raiga Saejima, the lead of Garo -Makai no Hana-, will be doing his own movie.
To celebrate the franchise’s 10th
anniversary, with the season 2 production of the Garo: Honoo no Kokuin anime, a Makai
Kagekidan musical will be in the works along with the dramatic film
adaptation of the anime.
