K Project: 2-Episode Review

Sunday, October 21, 2012

So here's a quick review and overview on K Project, a newly released anime work by Nakanishi Gou together with Gora Project Group and anime, Studio Gohand brought to us by Animax.

As for the title of this anime, I would have my own understanding for it for watching the two released episodes. K Project could be pertained to as the 'Kitten' Project or 'Kat' Project since on the second episode entitled 'Kitten', Neko, the cat shows up and helps his master with telekinetic power(She somehow disrupts someones vision, placing them in dead ends and you'll be seeing a lot of wall bumping), Isana Yashiro from Kuro Yatogami's blade(Watch the first episode 'Knight' to find out why Kuro wants to kill Yashiro).

Kuroh's about to cut Yashiro's head off.

The view disruption when Neko/Kitten uses her powers.
It comes together with a cute cat sound.

I am still baffled of how did they got their powers and why is is usual to them to see people fighting in the city since it in medias res.

I like how they presented the storyline, I'm still waiting for Episode 3 'Kitchen' to further understand the story. I would not call it suspense, but the more you are curious on how this and that happens in the anime, the more you will be interested in it.

Overall, the animations are great, the sounds are amazing, fight scenes are epic and oh, the intro is the only thing that bothers me, it is out of what the anime itself has to offer. Though it's still good, I'm not just used to that kind of opening. Here's their official site: http://k-project.jpn.com

Recommendation: Highly Recommended

Watch the K Project and be amazed. Enjoy a futuristic world of anime.
