Watching: 2013 Winter-Spring Airing Animes

Saturday, January 12, 2013

I haven't blogged about anything or anyone in a while. I've been busy with school and I haven't have much time gorging myself into blogging at the moment. I'm actually prioritizing watching anime at the moment(second after my studies) before blogging so that sometime this year, I could give you my insights on the anime soon as it ends. But, yeah, it is hell waiting for new episodes for great animes. Anyways, this will be about Winter and Spring animes that I am CURRENTLY watching and CURRENTLY airing.

On the top of my list would be Magi: Labyrinth of Magic which has 13 episodes at this time.

This is somehow about Egyptian mythologies about djinns but not in lamps, but in metal vessels and can be found in dungeons raised by Magi. Magis are the chosen few who are loved by the rukh(spirits or the spirit world, somewhat heaven) wherein they can obtain as much rukh as they wish. The rukh are the spirits who provide them the power much greater than dungeon clearers who only have magoi to materialize their djinns and use their powers unlike that of a Magi who can summon them.

I was actually shocked when Paimon was summoned, she is a lesbian djinn. I wish to see more djinns summoned and see other djinns equipped.
Then there's Shinsekai Yori, futuristic, paranormal and twisted anime.
If you're looking for something different and something that could shake your mind off, try watching it. The plot is somewhere a thousand years in the future, wherein everyone has this "Juryoku(Cantus)" or the ability to manipulate something with the power of the mind. Just as the saying goes, great power comes with greater responsibilities, this ability brought about some kind of inevitable problem which has only one solution, isolation and death. People stay inside Holy Barriers just so they could be safe from Fiends and Karma Demons, those who were lost in their power. But soon they discovered something bigger, something far more inevitable danger ahead.

Though midway of the season, the anime took a big turn and almost everyone were bisexuals. Kissing in hallways, butt-slapping in classroom, kissing in the meadows, bed scenes. But still, the anime is great.

Up ahead, Cuticle Tantei Inaba. The werewolf detective, the coolest one so far.
Hmmmm. Pretty much on the comedic side. The werewolf detective Inaba is the best in tracking criminals and solving crimes. He has the ability to locate someone by eating or smelling a strand of the person's hair, he somewhat has this 'Hair Fetish' and weird connection with Ogi-san. He also has the ability to obtain a unique power by eating a strand of hair, the ability varies on the color of the hair.

Hmmmmm. I guess Kotoura-san is next.
A main protagonist with unlikely ability to read people's thoughts. Since Kotoura was young, she can already read thoughts although she didn't realize they were bad and was left out because she was claimed to be an impulsive liar when all these time, all she was telling is the truth out of their minds. Because of this, her parents got divorced and she was left alone with his grandfather. She then transferred into a different school who doesn't know her ability. She walked the school gloomy and shady, but someone broke unto this shade, it was Manabe-san who never fails to make her laugh. What makes the anime fun is that Kotoura can read minds and Manabe usually thinks dirty thoughts on Kotoura.
Next is Amnesia, shounens everywhere.
Nothing much is basically known of this anime. The name of the girl hasn't been revealed yet since she has amnesia. The only information about this is that it's Orion's fault that she lost her memories. Orion bumped into her spirit on her way to this world, and this caused the big problem. So now, he's trapped in her soul. And, she's working on a maid/butler cafe.

To give credits to the site that feeds my crave for anime, you can watch English subs on animecrazy.net.

So there it is, Winter and Spring animes that I also recommend for you to watch. Have them on your watch list, I say! Mind sharing your insights on them too? Feel free to comment.
